It all begins with a dream

It all begins with an dream - at least that’s where it started for me. “Have you ever thought about art?” was how it all started nearly 20 years ago, when a good friend recommended creating artworks as a way of managing through a particularly stressful time in my life. It worked - I discovered a world of mindfulness and creativity that beforehand, had remained unknown to me. Since then, we have connected, art and myself, many times over the years. Like old friends, together we have developed and learnt together, as we’ve grown older and wiser.

The launching of my own site represents the conclusion of one phase of my creative life and the beginning of a new chapter at the same time. The decision to turn my hobby into a business has been a challenge - both personally and creatively - with many ups and downs over the year, but a decision I’m so pleased I made, and a life step I wouldn’t change if the decision came around again.

With my blog, I want to create a space where I can share some of my stories along the way as my journey unfolds - in the hope that somewhere along the way, some of these stories might either help or inspire other creatives who are either considering a similar path, or who are on a creative journey of their own.
